Dr Jean-Christophe Chatelet is a graduate from the Lyon School of Orthopaedics. He trained in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Lyon where he received the degree of Medical Doctor. Former intern at the Hôpitaux de Lyon, former assistant of the Hôpitaux de Lyon and Senior Doctor at the Faculty, he holds a certificate of biomechanics of the musculoskeletal system and a certificate of microsurgery.
Dr Jean-Christophe Chatelet is a member of the French College of Orthopaedics Surgeons, a titular member of the French Sociey of Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery(SOFCOT) and of the French Society of the Hip and the Knee (SFAG) that includes the 100 main French surgeons who perform hip and knee surgery.
He is an orthopaedic surgeon certified by the Haute Autorité de Santé (French National Authority for Health).
Dr Jean-Christophe Chatelet is the successor to Dr Louis Setiey, one of the founders of the Beaujolais Polyclinique. He has taken care of his patients and continued his specific activity of orthopaedic surgery involving hip and knee replacement procedures.
His area of expertise is therefore the hip surgery (osteoarthritis and hip replacement) and the knee surgery (osteoarthritis and sports surgery).
